The Women's Economic Institute is partnering with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation for New York (LISC NY) and the LISC NY Land Opportunity Program (NYLOP), sponsored in part by NYS Attorney General Letitia James, to release its 1st Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking a qualified co-developer for The Southside Renaissance Project ("SRP"). The Renaissance is a $30M, mixed-use, 9% low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) project located at the 1500-1610 blocks of South Ave in Syracuse, NY. The Renaissance includes 61 units of senior rental housing, a commercial space, broadband access, a public facing food hall and retail incubator, an event venue, daycare, and a workforce center and convenience market. SRP is slated to be a destination for visual arts and culture, entertainment, urban dining, and great shopping; all in a Wi-Fi accessible, culturally infused, environmentally sustainable area.
