The line will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day of the week and can be reached by dialing 2-1-1 while an individual is located in Arizona.
The Cash Assistance program provides temporary cash benefits and supportive services to the neediest of Arizona's children and their families.
Following federal guidance, work requirements for Nutrition and Cash Assistance recipients are temporarily suspended while the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect employment opportunities.

The Shared Work program provides an alternative for employers faced with a reduction in force by allowing businesses to divide available work or hours among affected employees in lieu of layoffs. The program allows the employees to receive a portion of Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits while working reduced hours.
In response to impacts from COVID-19, the Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) is revising the Shared Work program to provide maximum flexibility to support employers facing labor cuts and expedite economic recovery.
